Project in collaboration of Bureau+ NCAD and Kilmainham Mill
We initiated our project with an extensive exploration of the mill's history, conducting comprehensive research to lay a solid foundation for our endeavors. The Mill is an abandoned building that we took as our inspiration for our project where we aimed to transform the neglected into the renewed.

In response to the Kilmainham Mill brief, we conceived wearable art in the form of rings, brooches, and veils crafted from natural materials sourced from Kilmainham Mill and its environs, symbolizing the transformation from neglect to revival.

We transformed mill-found natural elements into stylish accessories, showcased across Dublin to revive Kilmainhaim Mill's legacy in an unexpected, eco-friendly manner.
With sustainability at our core, our innovative fashion approach not only revitalizes a historic landmark but also champions a more conscientious future, captivating attention and igniting curiosity citywide.

Our primary project output is a meticulously curated book, featuring professional photography showcasing the wearables alongside their creation process. The book narrates the inception of Forgotten Remnants, offering insights into our journey, from inception to realization, detailing the stages and inspirations behind our creations.

For the exhibition, we designed a scenography inspired by natural resources, which served as the foundation for crafting wearable pieces such as brooches, rings, and veils.
